The scorer of the spectacular winning goal against Shakhtar U19 shared his impressions after an emotional “Clásico” in the National League.
– Congratulations on an emotional victory! What did you feel when you scored?
– I felt joy for the team. We’re now just two points away from catching up with Shakhtar. It was a very important match – a six-point game as they say. So I’m really happy.
– Be honest, was that a shot or a cross?
– Of course it was a cross. I was just sending the ball to the far post but the wind helped us a bit in that moment. That’s how it happened.
– Was that the most epic goal of your career?
– I think it’s my favorite goal of my entire career.
– There were a lot of clashes on the field today. Did that disrupt the game or make it more intense?
– Our matches against Shakhtar are always really good ones. They’re a very strong team but today we were better.
– It seemed that Ozymay’s goal, which was disallowed, was actually clean…
– I agree. I really don’t understand why it was disallowed. In my opinion it was a perfectly good goal.
