Dynamo U19 defender Kostiantyn Hubenko shared his impressions after the 3:0 victory over Rukh in the rescheduled U19 National League match:
– We came out fully motivated to win, everyone really wanted to win today. We started confidently and aggressively and got the victory.
– Did the fact that Rukh are right behind you in the standings put any pressure on the team?
– No, it didn’t put any pressure on us. We can’t afford to drop points so we approach every match the same way. Nothing affects us mentally.
– Usman Savane came on as a substitute on your flank today. Could you tell us a bit more about him? How well has he adapted to the team?
– He’s a good player and a nice guy. It’s just a bit difficult for him because of the language barrier - he doesn’t understand Ukrainian or English yet. But as a player I really like him.
– Have you already managed to build some on-field combinations with him?
– Yes, we try to guide him and it’s working more or less.
– After the match against Oleksandriya there will be a break for international fixtures and you’ve been called up to the Ukraine U19 national team. Tell us about your call-up.
– I’m very happy about the call-up. I’m ready to fight for Ukraine.
