Dynamo Kyiv defender Kostiantyn Vivcharenko, who suffered a knee injury in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round against Romania's Universitatea, has undergone surgery.
The head doctor of FC Dynamo Kyiv's first team Andrii Shmorhun provided an update on the player's condition and recovery:
- Last Friday Kostiantyn Vivcharenko underwent knee arthroscopy. The surgery was performed in Barcelona by Professor Ramon Cugat. Our club doctor, Ihor Konivets, accompanied our player.
After returning to Kyiv defender will begin rehabilitation at Dynamo's club training base.
The player will undergo the necessary recovery procedures and physiotherapy, train in the rehabilitation gym, and perform a set of special exercises."
