The White-Blues did a good job in the first half. They defended very orderly and Shakhtar had only one opportunity.
Kyiv side attacked really actively and succeeded 9 minutes into the match. After a number or rebounds Harmash hit the corner from outside the box.
Unfortunately the second half was completely different. Solomon replaced Patrick and enforced Shakhtar attacking force. Eventually Kadar made a mistake and Moraes scored the equalizer.
In several minutes both goalscorers – Harmash and Moraes were sent off.
Shakhtar kept creating chances, but Boiko didn’t fail. Meanwhile attacking attempts of our team weren’t a success.
Eventually the battle finished with penalty shootout. Boiko cleared the shot by Solomon while Piatov parried strikes of Mykolenko and Shepelev – 3:4 for Shakhtar.
