The White-Blues former player has been arranging this competition for several years already. Special guests were famous performers – Maksim Shatskikh, Serhiy Fedorov, Volodymyr Yezerskyi and Ihor Kostiuk.
Eight teams from different regions of Ukraine took part in the tournament.
Young Dynamo players won every group stage game.
In the semifinal they flattened FC Arsenal Kyiv coevals 4:0 and in the final hammered Sports school-15 by the same score. The White-Blues conceded only one goal within the competition.
Vladyslav Vanat scored quadruple in the gold-medal match and became the best player of the tournament.
Dynamo coach Yevhen Yastrebynskyi has summarized the “Vladyslav Vashchuk Cup”:
- I think we’ve won deservedly. We demonstrated attacking football and gave all players a possibility to approve themselves. They must keep making headway.
