The UEFA Referees Committee has appointed an officiating team from Estonia for the first-leg match of the first qualifying round of the Europa League between Dynamo Kyiv and Romania's Universitatea (Cluj).
The referee for the match will be Joonas Jaanovits. He has been officiating in Estonia's top division since 2016. During his international career, he has not officiated a Dynamo match as the main referee but he was part of the officiating team for Kyiv's match against Galatasaray (3:3) in the league phase of the 2024/2025 Europa League season as the assistant VAR referee.

As a reminder, the match between Dynamo and Universitatea will take place on Thursday, 9 July, at the Arena Lublin stadium in Lublin, Poland. Kick-off is at 20:00 Kyiv time (19:00 local time).
