Kyivans went to Ukraine after the first leg against Rangers to play their first UPL game of the season. Oleksandr Shovkovskyi’s men succeeded against FC Veres Rivne away (2:1) due to goals by Mykola Shaparenko and Vitalii Buialskyi. After the match against Veres, the team returned to Lublin.
RANGERS
Meanwhile Rangers hosted Motherwell in the domestic league game and also won by narrow margin – 2:1. Goals for rangers were scored by Dessers and Cerny.
