Home side opened the score quite quickly. 13 minutes into the match Tsyhankov put a cross from the corner flag and Verbic headed the ball in.
Actually the first half of this game was probably the best one for the White-Blues this season. Rennais could hardly cross the midfield. Tsyhankov, Sidcley, Verbic and Buialskyi had more chances, but the score didn’t change any more before the break.
In the second half Olexandr Khatskevych’s men kept playing their football.
Eventually Tsyhankov took a free kick, put a cross into the box and Mykolenko headed the ball in.
Another attack – another goal. This time Shaparenko eluded his opponent on the left wing, rushed into the penalty area and hit the far corner.
Late in the second half Rennais pulled one back although the goal was quite doubtful due to offside.
Anyway, it’s 3:1 for Dynamo. Congratulations!
