On July 20, FC Dynamo Kyiv will play the 2022/2023 Champions League 2nd qualifying round 1st leg. The White-Blues will face the Turkish side Fenerbahce SK at the Stadion Miejski im. Wladyslawa Krola in Lodz, Poland.
2021/2022 SEASON
- The Ukrainian Premier League season was ceased because of war. Dynamo finished second, two points behind FC Shakhtar Donetsk (W-14, D-3, L-1, goal difference – 47:9).
In the Ukrainian Cup round of 16 Dynamo defeated FC Mariupol and were supposed to face FC Oleksandria in the quarterfinal, but the national Cup wasn’t finished either.
- Fenerbahce became the Turkish league runners-up with Trabzonspor eight points ahead (W-21, D-10, L-7, goal difference – 73:38). The leading striker of the team was Serdan Dursun with 15 goals to his name.
As for the Turkish Cup, Fenerbahce tumbled out in the round of 16 by losing against Kayserispor (0:1).
