UEFA’s Referees Committee has appointed the officiating team for the first leg of the Europa League playoff qualifying round between Israel’s Maccabi Tel Aviv and Dynamo Kyiv.

The referee will be 39-year-old Giorgi Kruashvili. He has been officiating at the international level since 2015. Among the highlights of Giorgi’s refereeing career is his appointment to the final of Euro 2021 (U21) between the Germany and Portugal youth teams (1:0).

Fourth official – Giorgi Avazashvili (all from Georgia);

Video Assistant Referee (VAR) – César Soto Grado (Spain);

Assistant VAR – Bakur Ninua (Georgia);

UEFA Delegate – Renata Tomášová (Slovakia).

The match Maccabi Tel Aviv – Dynamo will take place on Thursday, August 21, in the Serbian city of Bačka Topola at the TSC Arena, kicking off at 20:00 local time (21:00 Kyiv time).
