While getting ready for the new season, Dynamo played five friendlies. They defeated Dinamo Bucuresti (4:1), Wolfsberger (8:0), drew against Young Boys (3:3), succeeded against Aris Limassol (4:0) and Al Hilal (1:0).
Aris played five friendlies during the pre-season period too. Greek side won two of them and lost three.
