On Thursday, August 24, FC Dynamo Kyiv will play the UEFA Europa Conference League qualification play-off round first leg.
The White-Blues will face the Turkish side Besiktas JK. The game will take place at the Giulesti Stadium in Bucharest. Kick-off – 20:00 (local time matches Kyiv time).
2022/2023 SEASON
- Dynamo finished fourth in the Ukrainian Premier League last season, 12 points behind champions – Shakhtar. The White-Blues won 18 games, lost 6 and played in a draw 6 times (goal difference – 51:25).
- Besiktas finished third in the domestic league last season, 10 points behind champions – Galatasaray. They won 23 games, lost 4 and played in a draw 9 times (goal difference – 78:36).
As for the national cup, Besiktas tumbled out in the round of 16 by losing against Ankaragucu.
Europa Conference League qualification
- Dynamo started their campaign with the 3rd qualifying round. After away defeat against Aris in Thessaloniki (0:1), Dynamo succeeded in Bucharest (2:1) and then won on penalties (6:5).
- Besiktas have already completed two qualifying rounds by winning all four games – against Tirana (3:1, 2:0) and Neftci (3:1, 2:1).
