In the matchday 1 game the White-Blues lost against Juventus by two goals to nil, but generally didn’t look much worse than the Italian side. Thus in the away match Mircea Lucescu’s men were going to fight for positive outcome.
Home side took the ball under control right away. At first Ronaldo and his teammates attempted from distance, then Bushchan parried two headers by McKennie and Morata, but in the 21st minute Chiesa headed the ball in after cross from the left side by Alex Sandro.
In a while Ronaldo could double the score, but hit the bar from inside the box. Later in the first half Dynamo were closer to a goal. At first referee didn’t notice the foul against Verbic inside the penalty area. Then Verbic found Tsyhankov after cross by Kedziora, but Viktor hit the goalkeeper from close range.
Early in the second half Tsyhankov put a good cross into Juventus penalty area, no one touched the ball and Szczesny barely reached it in the bottom corner. In the 58th minute Bushchan tried to clear the ball after cross from the right side, but after rebound Ronaldo hit the open goal. 68 minutes into the game Morata obtained the ball inside Dynamo box, found a good position and made it 3:0.
After that Juventus didn’t actually attempt to increase the lead, while Dynamo probably thought of the upcoming game against Ferencvarosi.
