Considering lineup problems, this time Denys Harmash performed as a striker. Last weekend he scored brace against FC Arsenal-Kyiv but in this match he had to oppose top defenders. Still Denys did his best and even scored in the first half, but was flagged offside.
Chelsea opened the score early in the match. Giroud headed the ball in after corner. After that visitors controlled the game and didn’t let the home side approach their goal. 33 minutes into the match Chelsea doubled the score. Alonso found Giroud inside Dynamo box and Olivier hit the target. Right before the break Alonso made the score 3:0 after cross from the right side.
In the second half Dynamo had more chances. 52 minutes into the game Harmash didn’t manage to send the ball into the net and then Sydorchuk hit the post. The White-Blues didn’t score and conceded another one. Giroud scored with another header and got a hat trick to his name.
78 minutes into the match Hudson-Odoi made the score 0:5 in one-on-one situation.
So, Dynamo lose and tumble out of the Europa League.
