These two sides have already faced each other 66 times in USSR and Ukrainian competitions. The White-Blues won 43 games and lost 7 while 17 more matches ended in a draw. 33 games took place in Kyiv and home side won 27 of them. Zoria won one and five fixtures ended in a draw.
Interesting fact – Zoria defeated Dynamo in 1972 USSR league 3:0 and then won the title. Two years later Kyivans defeated Luhansk side 3:0 and won the USSR Cup.
Taking into account only Ukrainian league, Dynamo faced Zoria 33 times (W-23, D-7, L-3, goal difference – 67:17).
