European and French football have suffered grievous loss. Gentleman, who sacrificed his knowledge and experience on the altar of development and promotion of the most popular sports, has passed.
Indeed, Louis was outstanding figure in the football world, having left his profound imprint in the history of leather ball game in the home country and abroad.
My most sincere condolences are with relatives and close friends of Louis Nikollin, whom I looked upon as a good friend of mine and Dynamo Kyiv. Younes Belhanda’s transfer from Montpellier to our Club was the best demonstration of Louis’ professional and personal characteristics.
Part of his merit will always be found in the soundest achievements of French football, just like his blessed memory will live forever.
