Spectators saw several decisions, rendered by the referee, which made Hoverla head coach Viacheslav Hroznyi give the following commentary after the game:
- 37 minutes into the game the ball hit Krasnoperov’s hand inside the penalty area, but referee ignored this episode. Right before the break Azavedo played very tough against Lysenko, but I realized that rules are different for Metalist and for Hoverla. The whole country saw it.
