Upon signing five-year contract with FC Dynamo Kyiv, center back Maxym Diachuk answered club media questions:
- I’m happy to sign the contract with this great club and I’ll be doing my best to benefit the team. I’m thankful to the coaching staff and direction if the club.
- What personal goals do you set for the upcoming training camp and new season?
- As a team we’ll aim to bring the UPL gold and the Ukrainian Cup back to Kyiv. As for me, I want to make headway as last season I was making certain mistakes. I’ll work hard on that.
- Having returned after loan move to Oleksandria, you became the first team regular. Do you feel they believe in you in Dynamo?
- I really do and I’m thankful to coaches for that. I always listen to what they tell me. We have regular conversations, theory classes etc.
- Being a center back is a very responsible job. Do you feel the training camp is a chance to learn something new?
- Sure, that’s what training camps are about – about training, working on our skills. As I’ve said, I’ll be working on the mistakes I was making last season to avoid them in future.
- Do you like it when the team plays a lot of friendlies at training camps?
- Any game is a different level of responsibility. We try to demonstrate what we practice at training sessions. That’s very important. Every match matters to us.
