Dynamo defender Maksym Korobov commented on the team’s second friendly match at their winter training camp in Turkey against Kosovo side Malisheva in which White-Blues recorded an emphatic 8:1 victory.
- Of course, feelings are good. The team is going through a training camp, preparing and trying to work on the components proposed by the head coach - whom I know very well. It’s nice that we won 8:1. It’s also great that coaches gave everyone a chance to play and that all guys got their minutes. It’s pleasing to get a win.
- This is your first time going to a training camp with the first team. How is this stage going for you?
- Wonderful. I’m very happy that I’ve been given this trust and the opportunity to test myself with the first team. I had been waiting for this for a long time. During the winter break I tried to work on myself a bit, get into shape so that I could come into this winter camp well prepared. I thank the coach and will try to show my best football in order to stay with the first team.
- This was already your second friendly match. Do you feel the difference between them? Have you become more confident?
- Of course. In the first match I wasn’t as confident yet and didn’t communicate much with guys. As time went on I received support from my teammates and, as they say, got “pushed” a bit in training. In the second match I already felt much more confident.
- Who helps you adapt to the first team - younger players or more experienced ones?
- Definitely younger guys who have already earned some minutes here. Those who have been here longer also support me. As for senior players some give you a push, some support you - I won’t say who exactly, let that stay on the training pitch (smiles).
