On June 29, FC Dynamo Kyiv played the second charity match at the training camp in Switzerland. The White-Blues faced the Swiss side Lausanne, who relegated from the top league of the country this season.
Mircea Lucescu’s men are currently starting pre-season work while waiting for a significant group of internationals, who featured for the national team in early June. Thus, significant squad rotation wasn’t expected comparing with the previous match against Yverdon (1:1).
Dynamo coach made four substitutions in the starting lineup. Vivcharenko, Andriyevskyi, Vanat and V. Voloshyn replaced Dubinchak, Yatsyk, Antiukh and Tsytaishvili.
The game at the Stade de la Tuiliere started for the White-Blues with conceded goal. Trae Coyle obtained the ball in front of the penalty area and hit the upper V with a spectacular strike – 1:0.
This failure didn’t impact Kyivans a lot. They were having one attack after another. Besedin didn’t manage to shoot as he rushed into the box. Vivcharenko seemingly aimed at the far corner, but missed a bit. Lausanne keeper performed decent saves after attempts by Andriyevskyi and V. Voloshyn.
Still the home side increased the lead unexpectedly before the break. Trae Coyle succeeded again as he made it 2:0 from unpromising angle.
Early in the second half Coyle had a chance for a hat trick due to mistake by Neshcheret and Bilovar, but missed. After that Dynamo continued creating chances, but didn’t manage to get back into the game. So, it’s 2:0 for Lausanne.
Friendly. Match for Peace
