The 2025/2026 Ukrainian Premier League season can certainly be considered a successful one for Dynamo Kyiv striker Matvii Ponomarenko. The young forward won the title of the top scorer of the Ukrainian championship at the end of the tournament.
Over the course of the season Ponomarenko scored 13 goals, which is the best tally among all players in this UPL season. Matvii’s achievement is even more remarkable considering that he played significantly fewer minutes than his competitors.
