After one of the training sessions midfielder of our team Nikita Korzun told about conditions of our team and shared his impressions of the Ukrainian Super Cup against FC Shakhtar Donetsk:
- I have incredible impressions! The game was difficult. Atmosphere was great.
- Was it the most important and intense match in your career?
- I guess so. This is the derby against Shakhtar. Everybody wants to win.
- What did Serhiy Rebrov tell you to do on the field? Is he satisfied with your play?
- He told me to start attacks and work for defense. Considering that we’ve one I think I’ve fulfilled the task.
- Didn’t you have opportunities to join attacks rapidly like you did before your transfer to Dynamo?
- Now I have a bit different role on the field. I’m more focused on defense, so I join attacks quite rarely. Of course I have some latitude, but first of all I try to fulfill my defensive functions. If we don’t concede it’s at least good.
- Many people aren’t satisfied with Dynamo play quality. What should you work on in your opinion?
- It was the first game of the season, so of course we made some mistakes, but we’ll work on that as soon as possible.
- Will you do that by the Champions League start?
- Sure.
- What’s Dynamo training schedule like at the moment?
- One day we had two training sessions and after that – one training session per day. We work on tactics more than on fitness.
- You play as defensive midfielder? Is this you “native” position?
- Yes, I feel comfortable. I used to play alongside another supporting midfielder, but it’s also okay to be the only one. I just have to defend more.
- Dynamo will start the UPL season with the match against FC Oleksandria. Have you already analyzed this team?
- We’re getting ready for league start in fine fettle. We do our best on the field every time no matter what team we oppose. We always aim for victory.
