Time will show if he succeeds the way they did. So far Nikita has told about his first months in Kyiv and football childhood in Minsk.
- Do you have any awards you got when a kid?
- Nothing special. I just became the best player of youth tournaments a couple of times. In 2013 I got the award called “Belarus football hope” which is really prestigious.
- Who was your idol when you were a child?
- I liked AC Milan back then. My favorite player was Gennaro Gattuso. I play on the same position he did.
- In Serhiy Rebrov’s team supporting midfielder must do more than just ruin opponents’ attacks. Was it difficult to get used to new game principles?
- At first it was. It took some time to get used to new demands, but coaches pay much attention to theory classes, so I’ve understood what my duties on the field are. Everyone helped me and now I feel comfortable.
- What’s the most memorable game in your career?
- I guess it’s the Europa League game against Red Bull Salzburg. We won on penalties and reached the group stage.
