Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Mykola Shaparenko shared his emotions after signing a new contract with the club.
- Today you signed a new contract with Dynamo until 2030. What does this mean for you and for Dynamo in general?
- First of all I’m staying at home, staying with my native club Dynamo. For me this is a celebration and I want to thank all fans and club president for their trust and support.
- Ihor Mykhailovych Surkis said that the contract issue was resolved in ten minutes. How did you find out that Dynamo wanted to extend your contract and who was the first person you shared this news with? What were your thoughts?
- As Ihor Mykhailovych said we agreed on everything normally. We talked things through without any scandals.
- How do you see yourself in the future and what goals do you set for yourself?
- I think everyone knows our goals. I hope we manage to turn all of them into reality. I don’t want to throw around loud words or statements. I want to work quietly and prove everything not with words but with actions.
