FC Dynamo Kyiv halfback Nazar Voloshyn has shared his impression of the first training session after vacation.
- How tough was the first session?
- Basically it was fine. We did some running, practiced passing. But frankly speaking it was a bit tough.
- Did you manage to recondition during vacation?
- Sure. Now I get back to work quite refreshed.
- You’ve had only two weeks of vacation. How long did you just rest and when did you start the individual training program?
- I was resting for about a week. Then I started working at the training ground alongside other guys.
- You focused on stretching today quite a lot. How important is that after vacation?
- Actually it’s the basis. Muscles need to get used to work after vacation, so such exercises are vital to avoid injuries.
- You performed at the tournament in France recently. How useful was that in terms of preparations for the Olympics?
- Everything was on really good level – decent opponents, decent field. Dynamo players including myself took part in the first three games after which left which was agreed upon. We did well, won the tournament and gained some confidence before the Olympics.
- You scored two goals. Will those boost your confidence?
- Sure. Every goal gives confidence. I like to score and aim to upset keepers in every game (smiling).
- What do you expect of the upcoming training days?
- It will be tough, but we’re ready. We’ll do everything to approach official games in our best shape.
