Dynamo Kyiv winger Nazar Voloshyn shared his expectations for the upcoming match against Polissya in the next round.
– What mood is the team in as it prepares for the first away match of the year?
– The mood is very good. We’ve been winning our recent matches and that’s very important. We’re fully focused on the match against Polissya. It will probably be a tough game so we need to prepare properly.
– Polissya is 4 points ahead of Dynamo. Does that make this match decisive?
– Every match for us is decisive. We need to collect as many points as possible and always aim to win.
– Polissya has several former Dynamo players you also played with – Bushchan, Shepeliev, Andriievskyi and Braharu on loan. What is it like playing against former teammates?
– It’s interesting that you once played together for the same team and now circumstances bring you onto the field for different sides. Of course relationships with guys haven’t changed – we’re still friends. But on the field when you’re opponents, there are no friends.
– What factors become key in such important matches?
– Of course discipline and tactics – those are two very important factors. Especially discipline.
– In the previous round Polissya beat LNZ. Did you watch that match? Is it indicative of their form?
– I didn’t watch the game, I only followed the result. For us it’s good that Polissya won so we can keep chasing our competitors.
