Kranjcar was signed by the White-Blues in summer of 2012.
On August 14 Niko made his debut for Dynamo as Kyivans faced FC Metalurh Donetsk away.
He usually played as attacking midfielder. On September 14 2012 he scored brace against FC Karpaty Lviv at the NSC Olimpiyskyi.
Unfortunately problems with ankles became evident in November of the same year.
After the winter training campNiko was ready to play, but on March 22 2013 he picked up another injury.
On August 31 Kranjcar played for Dynamo U-21 against FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk reserve team (4:2).
