We are glad to inform that we are starting new rubric – “Notes as a memento”, which will point out most interesting episodes of every match.
So, let’s memorize that following events took place as the White-Blues faced FC Metalist Kharkiv within the UPL matchday 24:
- win against Metalist is 500th for Dynamo within the Ukrainian Premier League!
- special guests of the match were marines of Kirovohrad corvette, who have proven themselves to be true heroes during recent events in Crimea;
- marines of Chernihiv minehunting ship, who fought for the honour or our country to the utmost, were also present at the NSC Olimpiyskyi;
- FC Dynamo Kyiv supporters have thanked Jaba Kankava and wished Oleh Husiev good health with a help of banners;
- Oleh Blokhin faced such big number of injured players for the first time this season. Olexandr Shovkovskyi, Oleh Husiev, Yevhen Khacheridi, Aleksandar Dragovic and Brown Ideye couldn’t take the field against Metalist;
- Domagoj Vida played as centre back alongside Ognjen Vukojevic for the first time ever;
- victory against Metalist is sixth home win in a row for the White-Blues (goal difference – 22-3);
- Oleh Blokhin’s men score at least one goal in 35 matches in a row!
- Dynamo drawless streak consists of 11 games already (nine wins, two defeats);
- Denys Harmash has scored his first goal of the season. Last time he did that on March 10 2013 against FC Volyn Lutsk;
- Kyivans dedicated their first and second goal to Younes Belhanda’s newborn son Muhammad;
- Andriy Yarmolenko is Dynamo only player who scored against Metalist both within the Ukrainian Cup and UPL this season;
- Miguel has got the fifth assist to his name this season;
- Dieumerci Mbokani has scored six goals in Dynamo six last UPL matches;
- Brazilian defender Danilo Silva has made his 100th appearance for Dynamo in the UPL;
- Ognjen Vukojevic was sent off for the second time in his Dynamo career (136 appearances);
- supporting midfielder Serhiy Sydorchuk has made his first appearance for the White-Blues this spring;
- starting with second part of the season national anthem of Ukraine can be heard before every match;
- the game against Metalist has been attended by 39,236 spectators. More supporters were present only at the White-Blues UPL matchday 8 fixture against FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk on September 1 2013 (51,580).
