The White-Blues opposed Karlsruher SC.
- Karlsruher are typical orderly German team. Players have good physical conditions. It was a test for us. Dynamo have won the game, but there are still some aspects that must be improved. We are to play three more friendlies. That’s enough to get ready for the Ukrainian Super Cup and to defeat FC Shakhtar Donetsk.
- Is your task to be the link between defenders and midfielders?
- Yes, that’s what I did when I just came to Dynamo. Now I’m the only supporting midfielder in front of defenders. Today we work well at training sessions, do many exercises with the ball. We’ll demonstrate good play next season.
- Dynamo scored twice early in the game. Why didn’t you build on the progress?
- Goals we scored are result of our work. We dispossessed Karlsruher players and hit the target. In friendlies we demonstrate what we work on at training sessions.
- Have you managed to focus on work with Dynamo after the World Cup?
- Every professional player must be able to switch to club affairs after international matches. We have contracts and we must fulfill our duties. After the World Cup I set about work at once. Dynamo have ambitious goals and we are to work properly.
- After the game fans in Croatia national team shirts asked you and Domagoj Vida for autographs. Who are they?
- Many Croats work in Austria. They came to watch the match. I’m glad they support FC Dynamo Kyiv.
- Dynamo are to play five friendlies within seven days. Isn’t such schedule too tight?
- There are many performers in the team and everyone wants to approve himself. I think such schedule is normal.
