- It was a good game. I would like to thank spectators who came to support us and of course mass media representatives for their attention.
In general our team played rather well. Of course fatigue influenced our play.
As for our newcomers – these are the top level players. It’s great that we’ve signed them. Besides I have already informed Dynamo president that we still need a left back and a center back.
- You have given young players a chance to show what they can. Wasn’t it risky?
- No guts, no glory. Young Ukrainians must have a chance to play. Still I planed substitutions beforehand. We’ve done what we prepared for the game against Zenit. One should remember that our players didn’t start the training camp at the same time. Our task is to find the most effective combination of performers as quickly as possible. I think Lens, Mbokani and Veloso will get some game practice on July 3.
- You have signed attacking players. How can you estimate Dynamo attack in the match against Zenit?
- I would like to have a faster striker. Kravets does what he can. Mehmedi is not a forward, but a halfback. Anyway we have scored twice.
- How does the Joint tournament influence your preparation for the next season?
- We have substituted the second training camp in Austria with this tournament. Still our preparation hasn’t changed. We follow our plan. It should be mentioned that we are still to work on tactics. We’ll pay as much attention to it as possible. In general we are getting ready for the new season with a help of the Joint tournament.
- Will Dynamo newcomers change the play of the team?
- I only saw them running. It’s good that they have no overweight.
- Dynamo ultras have boycotted the game…
- I’m now responsible for their protest.
- You used to say that only those players who would do their best for Dynamo would play for your team. Never the less you have signed Mbokani whose priority was to play in England. Besides playing for Monaco he had problems with discipline…
- It’s a very untoward question. Several teams struggled for Mbokani, but our offer was the best one. What’s wrong about it? We must thank our president for signing Mbokani. As for his personal life, he’ll deal with it himself.
- Why weren’t Ruben, Bertoglio and Bohdanov on the players’ list?
- Bohdanov and Bertoglio will play on loan. As for Ruben, he still doesn’t match my requirements…
- Don’t you think that Dynamo have too many halfbacks as you have signed Belhanda?
- Some midfielders will leave our team.
- What will be Belhanda’s position in your tactical scheme?
- He is able to play on different positions.
- What will be your task in Europa League?
- First of all we must form a team. Our only task is to struggle for every trophy. We have enforced the team with new players. Only those will play who’ll match my requirements. The rest will work with the reserve team.
