- The game against Dinamo Tbilisi was a kind of resume of the first part of the training camp. According to the score this resume is positive. What does this result mean to you?
- Our players have been working for four days. It’s difficult as there was nobody to substitute them with. Never the less they did their best and I’m satisfied with it.
- Which players are likely to become first team regulars?
- I can’t name particular players yet. Some regain physical conditions quicker than others. In general I’m satisfied as we have chosen the right vector of work. Our players have demonstrated their character despite the fact that Georgians are very athletic.
- This game was experimental. Players switched their positions. Do you have enough information at the moment?
- It’s difficult to make conclusions after the first game. Experiments were inevitable as we simply lacked players.
- Why have Lukman Haruna and Marco Ruben missed the game?
- They have micro injuries, but on June 21 they’ll join the rest of the team.
- Is the lack of players a big problem for you?
- No, it’s not. We must work with those players we have at the moment. International players have already joined the team. Besides we may have some more newcomers.
- Dynamo already have one newcomer – Jeremain Lens. What can you tell about him?
- The fact that he is one of the Netherlands national team leaders means a lot. He has a good speed. I’m very satisfied with this transfer.
- What is your attitude to the future Joint tournament?
- First of all I must form the team. We have little time. Besides we’ll have one training camp instead of two.
I think it will be a good competition. Games against Zenit St. Petersburg and Spartak Moscow will let us check our players’ conditions.
- What are your expectations of the game against Spartak Moscow?
- Nowadays this match doesn’t look as principal as it used to be many years ago.
- Is it good that Dynamo won’t face Shakhtar Donetsk at this tournament?
- I think there’s no need for this match at the moment.
- Many specialists state that Dynamo foreign players are of lower level than those of Shakhtar and Metalist. Do you agree with this statement?
- Some of them really didn’t match the level of FC Dynamo Kyiv. Some of them have already left the team. From now on we’ll sign only top level foreign players. Still every player needs some time for adaptation.
- Do you aim for creation of the young team?
- I enjoy working with young players. It’s not normal when a player expresses his dissatisfaction with what we do. Training camps are always difficult. It’s natural.
- Do Dynamo players have a desire to play not only for money, but also for the reputation of our club?
- Of course! Maybe some of them just need more time to unlock their potential.
- Will you give young players chances to play?
- On the one hand I have a task to improve the team’s results. On the other hand I want to give young players chances. Everything will depend upon those who really have a great desire to play.
