Oleksiy Mykhaylychenko, who took charge of Ukrainian national team earlier this month, has named his squad for the first encounter in 2008, which is scheduled for Feb 6 vs. Cyprus. Dynamo Oleksandr Shovkovskyy, Andriy Nesmachnyy, Oleh Husyev and Taras Mykhalyk were called up, with young prospect Oleh Dopilka picking up his debut cap.
Formerly capped by the country’s junior team, the 21-year-old made his debut for Dynamo first team squad back in the season of 2006-2007 to make just one appearance. In the fall of 2007, he pushed his way into the first eleven, being deployed on the flank and defensively. Equally successfully on both positions.
