Dynamo midfielder Oleksandr Karavaiev shared his impressions with UPL.TV after the 2:2 draw against Obolon in the Ukrainian Championship:
– What prevented you from holding on to the winning score until the end?
– Most likely it was concentration because we conceded in the last minutes. We’ll analyze the game and draw the necessary conclusions. We’re already thinking about the next one.
– Tell us about your goal and Vitaliy Buyalskyi’s assist, which was already his fourth.
– Players like Vitaliy Buyalskyi and Andriy Yarmolenko can make the difference on the pitch at any moment. Everyone knows their strengths. At any moment Vitaliy can deliver a pass – the key is to make the right run in time. The same goes for Andriy Yarmolenko. You understand what they’re capable of and you must always be ready.
– Dynamo’s schedule is very intense. How do you feel about that? Do you get any rest between trips and matches?
– We were away from home for two months with training camps, matches and travel. During the international break we finally managed to rest a bit. Now we’re playing a few games in Kyiv so things are more or less fine, we’re preparing. Whenever we have time, of course, we rest at home and get ready for the next match.
– Ahead is the Cup match against Oleksandriya. How do you switch from one competition to another?
– There’s no time to overthink it. It’s simply another match, a Cup tie, and since it’s only one leg, it requires even more concentration to make the most of it and move on to the next round. We’ll be preparing for that.
