FC Dynamo Kyiv halfback Oleksandr Pikhalionok has commented upon the home win against FC LNZ Cherkasy (1:0) for FootballHub.
- Although we won by one goal to nil we totally controlled the game and could score more. LNZ had crosses, set pieces, so they could tap one it. That’s why we had to score three-four and close the game.
- What did you lack to score more? Coach was often yelling “faster” in the second half…
- If that was the case this means our speed wasn’t good enough. But we had chances. I could score both in the first and in the second half, but unfortunately didn’t. This is football. I’m glad we’ve got three points.
- What can you say about the fans who bought all the tickets available?
- I enjoy playing in front of the fans so much. When the stands are empty it’s a totally different atmosphere. I want to thank people for their support today. This win is for them of course.
- You’re in for intense period – international games, UPL, Europa League. Do you discuss this inside the team in terms of squad rotation?
- Sure, we have a lot of skillful player. There’s two-three performers for each position.
