FC Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Oleksandr Pikhalionok has shared his impressions of the training camp and expectations of the matches against FK Partizan.
- Oleksandr, how is the training camp for you?
- We’re a bit tired, but we’re getting ready for extremely important game against Partizan. We have two more friendlies to play.
- This is your first training camp with Dynamo. What’s special about it?
- I’d say it’s high intensity of training sessions. The team is great, they greeted me warmly. We’re getting ready for official games positively.
- Today you had a tactics class. A lot depended on you in the midfield. Have you already adapted to Dynamo style?
- I’m gradually getting accustomed. Today we worked on tactics to practice that in the upcoming friendlies.
- What do you expect of Partizan?
- It will be a really difficult game for sure. Serbians play athletic football. There will be a lot of struggle and we can’t lose it.
- You had unsuccessful experience in qualifiers last season. What’s important before those games?
- One must be totally focused and play with maximum dedication. In terms of qualifiers, the hardest part is to outplay the first opponent.
- Unlike for Partizan, this will be the first official game of the season for Dynamo. Does it give the Serbian side advantage?
- I’m not sure. We just need to do the best we can throughout every game.
- Do you count on home support in Lublin?
- Sure, we hope to see our fans at the stadium. Their support means a lot to us.
