I’ve been working for Dynamo for 37 years already and of course I have many reminiscences concerning these guys.
When I was a talent scout I was told to go to Minsk to look for players. I invited Valentyn Belkevych and Olexandr Khatskevych to our team.
As for Andriy Bal… I remember his 40th anniversary. At that time he worked in Israel and we came there to have a training camp. Valeriy Lobanovskyi told us to make him a present on behalf of Dynamo. It was a golden pendant.
- Andriy Husin will be remembered as a very sincere person, always eager to communicate with media…
- I remember the episode which was a turning point in his career. In Kyiv Husin featured for Dynamo-2 at first. When Valeriy Lobanovskyi took charge of the team he came to the match and spotted him playing as forward.
He told Yozhef Sabo, who was sitting next to him, that this guy would be a good midfielder. That’s what eventually happened.
As a person Andriy was very kind. When he became a coach he always helped players…
I believe that a lot of spectators will come to Memorial match.
