- I’m really excited. When they started discussing my transfer, I was calm, but today I felt pleasant excitement. I realize what kind of club I’ve joined.
- What does such club as Dynamo mean to you?
- The first thing that comes to my mind is that this club is the legend of Ukrainian football. It has great history. Great players and coaches worked here.
- You’ve signed long-term contract… Do you think you’re on the peak of your career and you’ll spend a significant period of time with Dynamo?
- Of course I realize I’ve casted in my lot with Dynamo for a long time. The club has serious ambitions and I like that. Still I don’t want this to be the peak of my career. I always want to move forward.
- Have you already talked to Olexandr Khatskevych?
- I have. He called me. It great that Olexandr Khatskevych was personally interested in me. This was the decisive factor of my transfer.
- You’re experienced player, but still you’re only getting ready for the debut in Champions League. What are your expectations of this competition?
- I’ve performed on all football levels. The only thing I still need to try is the Champions League. That’s my dream.
- You’re Ukraine international, so you know many Dynamo players. Whom do you communicate with the most?
- I have very good communication with everyone. When I met Viktor Tsyhankov, I was impressed with his personal qualities. Our communication turns into friendship. Anyway, all guys are nice to me.
- Why did you choose squad number 20?
- I know that legendary Oleh Husiev had this number, so it’s a great honor for me. I’ll do my best to achieve what he’s achieved with Dynamo.
- Do you join Dynamo as right back?
- I haven’t discussed that with coach yet. I guess we’ll figure it out when we start training.
- Are you ready for the training camp?
- The vacation wasn’t long. I spent it in my hometown and even played football a bit. Of course my fitness isn’t perfect so far, but that’s what we need the training camp for. I’m looking forward to our training sessions.
- What would you like to tell Dynamo supporters?
- I never give up and I promise to do my best to win trophies with Dynamo.
