- It was unusual as this was my first full match in this position. Coach asked me to play as left back as Mykolenko had certain health problems. Basically I performed same functions as before, but I had to use different leg which is a bit uncomfortable. Besides, the turf didn’t let us demonstrate our best football.
- Dynamo often say that the turf in Mariupol is far from perfect…
- They water the turf very poorly although I know there’s a special rule in regulations concerning this issue. They decided to ignore regulations in Mariupol… Anyway, what really matters is that we’ve won and gained three points.
- Do players feel psychological pressure after they fail to use many chances?
- Sure. We try hard to create chances, but the ball doesn’t cross the line for some reasons. Time runs out, the score is 0:0… But one must fight till the end and believe. That’s what we did.
