- You used to play for Dynamo and work as youth teams coach. How do you feel now that you’re back?
- I left Kyiv only for two years to work as Belarus head coach, but my family has been here all the time. Basically I’ve been living in the capital of Ukraine since 1996, so if it’s a return, then only to the club. I’m a bit anxious, but I’m sure we’ll make it.
- How long were you considering Dynamo offer?
- At first I met president of the club on May 29. For two days we were discussing details and talking about ways to make the team stronger.
- Have you already picked assistant coaches?
- Almost everything has been settled. Those will be Maksim Shatskikh, Oleh Luzhnyi and Mykhailo Mykhailov.
- Who’ll take charge of Dynamo U-21 and U-19?
- Yuriy Moroz will take charge of Dynamo U-21 while Serhiy Fedorov and Serhiy Shmatovalenko will be his assistant coaches. Ihor Kostiuk will head Dynamo U-19 and Andriy Annenkov and Vitaliy Kosovskyi will be helping him.
- You know the team pretty well. Do you already have any ideas concerning Dynamo enforcement and lineup issues in general?
- We’ve already discussed some issues with Ihor Surkis. Anyway I’ll answer this question after the training camp. We’ll have a special press conference. The team will gather on June 19 and work in Kyiv till June 25. On June 26 we’ll leave for Austria, where internationals will join us.
- Are you going to introduce any innovations?
- Sure, every coach has his own vision. Anyway, I’ll tell about that after the training camp.
