Olexandr RYBKA: “Dreams come true, one must just work a lot”

- Dynamo oppose Obolon in the Ukrainian Cup round of 16. You are in with this club. Does that give you extra motivation?

- There’s nothing special about these games for me, but it was interesting to oppose them in the first leg. I spent a year and a half in this team and it was a good time for me.

- What do you feel trying to clear penalty?

- Player that shoots feels more pressure than goalkeeper. If keeper clears the shot – he’s a hero, if he doesn’t – it’s okay. So, I think it’s much easier for goalkeeper from psychological point of view.

- Have you learned any special tricks from Olexandr Shovkovskyi in this regard?

- I’m not the only one he teaches something. Olexandr is experienced sportsman and he shares his knowledge about football and life in general. He can give a good advice.

- How do you spend your free time? Do you have any hobbies? They say you like Caribbean Sea.

- I’ve been there, but only once (smiling). As for my free time, if I have it I can play basketball or football with friends. Still we shouldn’t do that as we can suffer injuries.

- On Saturday you’ll play sparring against Stal. What can you say about this team?

- This game is part of our preparation for matches against Shakhtar and Chelsea. We all need game practice. Stal are worthy team, so the sparring will be interesting. I invite all of you to the stadium.

- What’s your prediction for Ukraine match against Spain? What should our team do to win?

- The team has coaching staff to tell that. I think it’s all in our hands and we can do it.

- Which goalkeeper is your idol?

- I used to be fond of Edwin van der Sar. When I was a kid I admired Olexandr Shovkovskyi. I couldn’t even imagine I would be his teammate. Dreams come true, one must just work a lot.
