Olexandr RYBKA: “We goalkeepers work with the ball in our feet a lot”

- Goalkeepers get 45 minutes of game practice a match at the training camp. Is that enough to stay fit?

- As for me it is. Training process and sparrings help us recondition before the Europa League and Ukrainian Premier League matches.

- Outfield players usually say that they prefer sparrings to training sessions. Do goalkeepers agree? You can get less practice in friendlies if your teammates attack a lot…

- Everyone prefers playing. Of course we get less practice in sparrings than at training sessions, but friendlies are vital. In some way it’s about psychology.

- Antunes made his debut in the match against FC Astra Giurgiu. Does he cope with his duties on the field?

- He doesn’t understand all principles of Dynamo play so far. Maybe coaching staff will talk to him personally. There’s no doubt he’ll be quick on the draw as he’s a high profile defender, who used to feature in La Liga and Champions League.

- You committed a foul inside the penalty area as Dynamo faced FC Viktoria Plzeň. Have you already analyzed that episode?

- Of course I have. That was my mistake. I shouldn’t have rushed towards the player as Dragovic could dispossess him. Fortunately it was just a friendly.

- Sometimes goalkeepers work separately. What do you practice?

- We analyze every situation in detail and make some conclusions. For example today goalkeepers often start attacks of the team, so wework with the ball in our feet a lot.
