The head coach of the team Olexandr Sytnyk has summarized the contest:
- We know Shakhtar and told our players that when we turn speed on they’ll have problems. We have fast performers and guys, who think quickly on the field. Today we won deservedly and could have scored even more. I congratulate players. They’ve done well. It was obvious they didn’t want to let three other Dynamo groups down. Maybe they were a bit anxious early in the game, but then realized that they are better and became champions.
