Dynamo Kyiv defender Oleksiy Husiev, who currently plays for Chornomorets Odesa on loan, made another appearance for the Ukraine U21 national team.
As a reminder, Dmytro Mykhailenko’s side finished their UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2027 qualifying campaign with a victory over Croatia. However, Ukraine finished third in their group and failed to qualify for the final tournament.
The match against Albania, which concluded the current international break for the Ukraine U21s, ended in a 2-2 draw. After conceding first, the Blue and Yellows came from behind and took the lead thanks to goals from Hlushchenko and Dihtiar. However, Ukraine were reduced to ten men in the 69th minute and conceded an equalizer in the final minute of regular time.
Husiev started the match and was substituted in the 64th minute.
