Ukraine’s U21 national team faced Turkey in a UEFA European Championship 2027 qualifying match.
The first half belonged to Turkey, who scored two goals, but in the second half Dmytro Mykhailenko’s side made a comeback thanks to goals from Krevsun and Hadzhiiev. The final score was 2:2.
One representative of Dynamo took part in the game – Oleksiy Husiev, who is on loan at Chornomorets. He came on as a substitute for Hryshkevych in the 65th minute with the score at 1:2. Another Dynamo player, Anton Tsarenko, was also included in the squad for the game but remained on the bench.
Having played seven matches, the Blue and Yellows are third in the group, three points behind Turkey and seven points behind Croatia, who have played one match fewer. Even if Ukraine catches up with Turkey on points in the final round, the opponent will have the advantage in head-to-head meetings, meaning that our national team has lost its chances of finishing second and qualifying for the European Championship.
