Dynamo's youth team head coach Pavlo Cherednichenko commented on the 4:1 victory over Zorya in the 7th round of the UPL-2 championship.
– Today, the game effectively started from the beginning, from the 8th minute, but the team were already leading at that point. How did this affect the team's mindset for the match?
– The team always have the maximum focus. We play from the beginning of the match until the very last second. We have maximum concentration and maximum determination.
– Did those few minutes played two weeks ago give you information for possible changes to the tactical setup?
– We involved a large number of first-team players. The coaching staff gave them 45-60 minutes of playing time. We made certain adjustments together with Ihor Kostiuk. The players got playing time and went through the training process. Our game plan resulted in a positive outcome.
– Today's victory was also helped by Dynamo's newcomers – Keasse Bah and Gustavo Prado. How would you assess these players?
– They are strong players individually. They have the necessary skills to establish themselves in the first team and deliver results.
– Was it difficult to maintain a balance between the players who play for the youth team and the first-team footballers?
– The age difference between the players is not very significant, but we all speak the same football language. All Dynamo teams operate according to the same model. The players know what to do on the football pitch in attack, defense and transition phases. Communication is at a high level, so everyone understands what they have to do.
– Vladyslav Supryaha scored two goals – one before the match was suspended and one after it resumed. How would you assess his performance? What kind of form is he in?
– Vladyslav is making full use of the playing time he is given. For a striker, the main task is to score a goal against the opponent in every match. He is fulfilling this task. We want to see even more from him, as well as from the other players.
