Two constructions of the kind can replace the natural sunlight in autumn and winter.
Each platform can warm 700 sq m of the turf. The NSC Olimpiyskyi pitch is 7 887,5 sq m large, thus every 14 hours artificial “Sun” can “feed” 2 100 sq m of the turf which is the quarter of the whole field. Despite massive size of platforms they don’t cause any damage to the pitch as they are made of aluminum. So despite weather conditions, we are always ready to host matches and our field is one of the best in Europe, - informs the NSC Olimpiyskyi General Director Valentyn Hruzdev.
