Interesting fact
In April of 2022, a scandal broke out in the Bundesliga match refereed by Christian Dingert. During the game between Freiburg and Bayern 12 players of the Munich side were on the field at the same time. In the 84th and 85th minutes of the game of the 28th matchday of the Bundesliga, the head coach of Bayern Julian Nagelsmann made two substitutions: Marcel Sabitzer replaced Kingsley Coman, Niklas Süle replaced Corentin Tolisso. However, Coman did not leave the field, so Bayern remained with 12 players. Referee Christian Dingert didn’t notice it immediately. Bayern played like that advantage for about 15 seconds, after which the match was stopped.
After a long discussion for about 5 minutes, the referees decided to continue the game. Bayern won 4:1, but Freiburg filed an appeal, claiming a technical defeat for the Munich side. The blame was laid on the officials.
The game between Dynamo and Partizan will be the first one for Dingert this season. Last season Christian mostly worked in German competitions – first, second and third Bundesliga and the national Cup. In 26 games he showed 4,62 yellow cards on average, 0,15 red cards and awarded 0,46 penalties.
