Dynamo Kyiv's head coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi answered questions of journalists after away match against Karpaty Lviv (3:3).
- At the moment are Morhun, Thiare, and Blănuță stronger than Neshcheret, Yarmolenko and Mykhavko?
- If you put Yarmolenko in goal then yes, Blănuță would certainly look better as a striker.
- Are you satisfied with today’s result?
- Scoring three goals should generally be enough to win. We had more chances to score. In my opinion the first goal we conceded came from a referee’s mistake. I don’t know what he was watching - Pikhalonok was on the ball, he should’ve been allowed to play but he was fouled, and from that attack we conceded. Though Bilovar could have cleared the ball.
The second goal was a positional error from Karavaiev. He misread the situation, went between two players instead of staying back to meet the opponent, letting him receive the ball.
The third goal was a positional mistake from the goalkeeper.
- How will you prepare for the Conference League match?
- We are staying in Lviv. Tomorrow we’ll train here and the day after we’ll head to Lublin.
- Your next opponent, Crystal Palace, beat Liverpool today. Have you already analyzed this team?
- We have enough information but we haven’t analyzed them in detail yet. We prepare for every match the same way, regardless of the opponent’s status.
- The first half went against your team but you made no substitutions at halftime. Yet at the start of the second half the game completely changed. Did you find the right words in the dressing room?
- I always find right words for my players.
