Three FC Dynamo Kyiv performers were among the Yellow-Blues first eleven – Yevhen Selin, Denys Harmash and Andriy Yarmolenko. After the break Yevhen Makarenko and Roman Bezus made substitute appearances.
Ukraine opened the score 20 minutes into the match as Ivan Ordets hit the target. 56 minutes into the game visitors equalized when Omarou headed the ball in. The decider was scored ten minutes before the time by Taras Stepanenko.
It was the 40th appearance for the national team for Andriy Yarmolenko and 15th both for Yevhen Selin and Roman Bezus.
It was also the first time Yevhen Makarenko featured at Dynamo Stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskyi.
