Five recent news from our opponent’s camp are for your attention.
1. On July 2 Shakhtar lost the sparring against SBV Vitesse – 0:2.
2. On July 3 Ukraine internationals rejoined the team and on July 6 – Darijo Srna.
3. Bohdan Butko has stated he’ll do his best to get Shakhtar starting spot despite rumors about his transfer to GalatasaraySK.
4. On July 5 Mykyta Shevchenko, Oleh Danchenko and Maxym Malyshev were reconditioning. Ismaily worked individually while Vasyl Kobin rejoined the team.
5. Shakhtar new head coach Paulo Fonseca has summarized the first part of the training camp: “One must realize we’re introducing significant changes. We mostly work on defense so far. I’m satisfied with players’ dedication. Of course some of them sill leave the team. We can leave 23-24 outfield players and goalkeepers”.
